GOVERNOR Benigno R. Fitial warned yesterday he may be forced to use his executive powers to reduce the cash-strapped governments working hours if the Legislature fails to pass legislation that will impose austerity measures this coming fiscal year 2011.n
The administrations proposed budget for FY 2011, which starts on Oct. 1, is just $132 million " down by $16 million compared to the current continuing budget resolution of $148 million " but it may be further slashed if new projections indicate fewer collections in the next 12 months.
