I have heard from friends that Yes We Kan t-shirts featuring new Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan are popping up all over Japan.Im sure the fever is nothing like Washington, DC during Barack Obamas inauguration, but people seemed pretty jazzed about this guy.
I wanted to join in on the celebration, so I designed my own Yes We Kan t-shirts.
******The Naoto Kan Yes We Kan shirts are not my first foray into designing t-shirts.I have several designs up on Cafepress.com.One of the most well loved designs was inspired by CNMI Representative Stanley Torres and CNMI Secretary of the Department of Lands and Natural Resources Ignacio Dela Cruz.
The nightingale reed warbler is a federally listed endangered species.Dela Cruz and Torres have all but declared war on the bird, claiming that the federal protections have ruined the Chamorro culture and hurt our economy.
The shirt reads, THE NIGHTINGALE REED WARBLER WILL KILL YOUR CHILDREN.
